The 1858 Remington New Army is a six-shot, .44 caliber revolver with a blue finish, steel backstrap, and forged frame. The barrel is 8" and the trigger guard is brass. The grip is 2 piece walnut. Dovetail front blade sights. Overall length 13.6 inches. Weight 2.7 pounds.

Black Rock Finish is applied which makes this Remington resistant to corrosion form black powder and very easy to clean.
