Gun - Conversion Cylinder - 1851-1861 Navy |
CNVCY |
This cylinder converts the .36 caliber, 6-shot steel-frame 1851-1861 Navy Revolver to a .38 Long Colt cowboy ammunition. Hollow-based bullets must be used in the conversion. The roll engraving on the black powder cylinder is also available on the conversion cylinder. Select Pietta or Uberti. THESE CYLINDERS ARE DESIGNED FOR STEEL FRAME REVOLVERS ONLY. A cylinder change converts cap and ball revolvers from percussion to cartridge. Now you can switch back and forth from black powder to centerfire by changing the cylinder. The cylinder and plate fit together without screws or threads, so conversion is simple: pull the cylinder pin, drop the cylinder, and lift off the plate with your fingers. Only certified 4150 arsenal-grade steel is used in the production of these cylinders and top-plates to provide superior quality & strength and ensure safety & durability. No frame modification is needed, although minor fitting may be required due to gun manufacturer variations. USE only cowboy ammunition.
DO NOT use ammunition exceeding 850FPS.
DO NOT use hot or jacketed ammunition.
Conversion Cylinders ship separately from firearms purchases.
FIREARMS & CYLINDERS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED. Backorders are widespread across the United States. Call for In Stock availablity. This conversion cylinder may not fit the older Pietta models. Please contact Pietta directly to verify before pruchase. |
