The CS Captain kepi has two rows of gold Soutache braid on the top, sides, front and back of the kepi to indicate the Captain rank. Two rows of braid also encircle the hat above the band.

The kepi is available with an optional single row of braid encircling the quadrefoil on the top of the hat for an additional charge.

The kepi has a heavy leather brim, functional chin strap with brass side buttons and center buckle, leather sweat band, and is lined.

The kepi is available in a variety of wool colors. The band color may be changed to indicated branch of service.
