This rifled musket , with the lock marking "1861 Springfield" and an eagle, was the principal infantry arm of the civil war. Produced in tremendous numbers by the Union and captured by the Confederacy, this is the arm that most soldiers on both sides carried. A handsome, durable and accurate rifle, the model 1861 was the most widely produced American military long arm to that time. During the Civil War over 1,5000,000 of the 1861 pattern rifle muskets were produced by the Springfield National Armory and 2 private Contractors.

This Enfield replica has all the features of the original, including a one-piece, oil-finished stock, blue barrel, original-style barrel bands, and brass nose cap. Originally manufactured bu the Richmond Armory in Richmond, Virginia from 1861 - 1865, the CS Richmond Musket was noted for its accuracy.  This model was produced in larger numbers than any other Confederate long arm and is a direct copy of the US Model 1855 with the exception of eliminating the Maynard priming system for the lock.

This musket features a one-piece barrel of forged steel with "VP" and an eagle head stamped to the left of the breech. Markings on the lock are "1862" to the left of the hammer and "CS RICHMOND, VA" to the right of the hammer. Caliber is .58 with a one piece oil-finished walnut stock, accented with brass trigger guard,  nose cap and butt plate. The musket feature military-style sights. The overal length is 56" and the barrel is 40".

The Remington Model 1863 Zouave was a favorite of soldiers during the Civil War and was recognized by experts as one of the better made long arms of the era.

The 1858 Revolving Carbine was one of the first muzzle-loading revolving carbine. This model was known for its easy handling and reliability. About 3,000 models were produced from 1866 - 1879. 

This .44 caliber carbine features a walnut stock and an adjustable sight. It has a tapered 18" steel barrel and brass trigger guard.

The .50 caliber percussion Kentucky rifle is one of the most popular American long guns. This rifle, made by Peredsoli, features a brass butt plate, trigger guard, large patch box, side plate thimbles, and nose cap. The one piece stock is oil-finished walnut and the lock plate is case hardened. The barrel has a blue finish and the bore is rifled with 8 grooves. The rifle has a brass blade front sight and steel, open rear sight. The overall length is 51 3/16" and the barrel is 35 9/16".

An economical cavalry carbine cartridge box features an inner flap covering a tool pouch. Wooden blocks for cartridges are included. The tab on the front flap is both sewn and riveted. There are 2 belt loops on the back. The box is sewn in white thread and is made of black leather and now in Russet.

The Civil War Blakeslee Spencer Quick Loader Cartridge Box is designed for the Spencer Carbine. Because of the rapid speed that a Spencer carbine could be fired, a special box needed to be designed to hold cartridges for loading. Erasmus Blakeslee patented this box late in 1864. U.S. Government contracts for over 30,000 boxes were delivered to the War Department but few were used in the Civil War due to time delays of production and distribution.

This box contains 6 tin tubes encased in a bored wood block. The wood block is wrapped in smooth black bridle leather with a hinged leather lid to protect the open tops of the tin tubes from the elements. The box is worn over the shoulder on the left side. The leather shoulder strap attached to the box holds the device close to the trooper's left side. This arrangement allows the soldier to reach across with his right hand, flip open the 'Quickloader' box lid, draw out a single magazine tube filled with seven cartridges and insert the bullets into the stock of the Spencer weapon. The box has an implement pouch just like the originals, include the shoulder sling, and has a belt loop on the back.

Available for EITHER .44-40 ammunition OR .56-50 ammunition.  The .44-40 will fit .45 Long Colt ammunition. 

The box is available in black leather only and measures approximately 13 inches longs and 2 inches by 3 inches wide.

The M1874 Dyer cartridge pouch is used with the 45/70 rifle or carbine during the Indian Wars. It is made of high quality black leather with a US in oval embossed on the flap. The flap closure has a brass plate and finial. There are two belt loops on the back. It is lined with lambs wool. The pouch is available in Black or Russet leather. Chief of Ordnance, General Alexander Dyer, designed the cartridge box needed to carry the ammunition needed by the single action Colt revolvers issued during the late 1800's. The .45 cal cartridges could be easily carried and accessed with this new design.

These tubes are NOT designed for live loads and are strictly for blank use ONLY. They about 1/2 inch in diameter and will hold about 75 grains of powder. Once you have filled these cartridges with the measured amount of powder, twist and fold the top to seal and place them in your cartridge box.

This Musket Nipple Protector and brass tear drop style chain is a nicely detailed replica of the original. The Nipple Protector, also called a Snapcap, is used to protect the musket nipple and hammer from damage during an accidental dry-fire. The square socket fits over the square lug military nipple. The 8 inch brass chain has a brass split ring to secure it to the rifle. This nipple protector fits all the most common musket nipples.
