The M1832 Mexican War Foot Trouser is made of Heavy Cotton Canvas in white. These trousers were used by enlisted US Army Foot soldiers during the summer months of the Mexican War and were the model that was later adopted in 1833. Trousers for enlisted soldiers are white with drop front design. Cord tie in the back for adjustment. The trousers have a watch pocket and Side Seam Pockets. Fly buttons and suspender buttons are pewter. Inseam measurement is not needed as the trousers are unhemmed at 33 inches and can be either rolled up, cut off, or hemmed by the customer.

US Regulations state that these trousers were to be worn May 1st through September 30th. Rank stripes were not authorized for the summer canvas trousers.

These trousers are worn higher than today's jeans. However, we are well fed and many of us have larger stomachs and our jeans are worn below the stomach. Order ONE size larger than your normal jean size. If you want an exceptionally loose fit, order TWO sizes larger than your normal jean size.

This carptebag is made of durable chenille carpet fabric, brown leather riveted handles, a brown leather buckle closure, a reinforced hard-bottom, and metal knob feet. Sturdy side hinges will keep the bag open for filling, or closed when carrying. It measures approximately 19" long, 13" deep, expandable 5"-10" wide. Opens to approximately 10". This 1874 canvas haversack/clothing bag was standard US issue, and was stamped with "U.S." on the front. The haversack is made of khaki canvas material with a crisp “U.S.” stamped on the outer flap. Sewn to the underside of the flap are two 6-inch long leather latch tabs each which fasten to a pair of brass buckles located on the bottom of the body of the haversack. The rim of the main bag is lined with leather along the front edge and across the back. The haversack features an internal pocket that is held closed by a leather strap for a standard issue *meat can, and a washable, button-in liner. An interior stamp of "WATERVLIET ARSENAL W.P.G." completes this haversack replica, perfect for your Indian War reenactment.

Invented by Anson Mills, an officer in the infantry regiment of the U.S. Army during the Plains Indian War, who later rose to the rank of Brigadier General, the Anson Mills Belt served as an improvement to the regulation cartridge belt by weaving the the whole belt into one piece without sewing. The belt became popular shortly after the Civil War in the late 1800's. The improved belt was adopted by the U.S. Army, but the quantities needed by the frontier army were low at that time. It wasn't until the conclusion of the Spanish-American war that Mills' factory expanded to be able to produce a thousand belts per day with additional orders also coming in from Canadian troops and the British government. 

This Anson Mills Double-Loop belt is expandable from 32-inches up to 54-inches in length. The belt holds up to 100 rounds of .45-70 caliber. It is available in Navy Blue Canvas.

The 2-Piece 1881 Anson Mills Buckle is NOT included, but is available for purchase at an additional charge. If the Buckle is purchased with the belt, we will install the buckle at no additional charge.

These economical Brogans are made with the Black Leather ROUGH Side Out. The shoe features four eyelets, leather laces and a square toe. The soles are pegged. The brogans are available only in regular width.

Brogan is a term generally applied to any heavy, ankle-high shoe specifically, any such shoe worn by a soldier in the Civil War. The standard model of brogan worn by a soldier was the Model 1851 Jefferson, a square-toed model with four eyelets and leather laces. Brogans were interchangeable with the left or right foot, supposedly allowing for even wear on the boots.

The CS Officer Double Breasted Frock Coat is made of 16 oz Medium Grey Wool and features a 16 Button Front of CS Staff Buttons or CSA Buttons with HAND STITCHED Button Holes. The sleeves feature Gold Soutache Sleeve Braid and a 3 Button Functional Cuff. There is a 4 Button Pattern on the back of the coat's skirt and the folds of the skirt conceal additional pockets. The Coat Body and Skirt are fully Lined with Black Cotton and the Sleeves are Lined in Muslin. There is 1 Inside Pocket.

As per the Uniform And Dress of the Army of the Confederate States published in 1861, the Double-breasted 14-button CS Frock was standard issue for field officers with the Rank of Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lt. Colonel, and Colonel.

The brass 1882 Hospital Steward Hat Insignia measures approximately 2 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches high. Features a brass wreath with a white metal caduceus. Made from stamped brass, each piece has wire pins on the back for hat attachment. The hat insignia was worn by Enlisted medical staff from 1882-1887.

This C&C Sutlery Frock Coat is made for the early war Washington Artillery Of New Orleans reenactor. The Washington Artillery CS Coat is navy blue wool with artillery red Solid Trim on the collar and cuff. This coat comes standard with muslin lining, one inside pocket, one skirt pocket, and is available in a 9-button front with Louisiana buttons.

Because of their Blue color, and confusion caused in battle, these uniforms were quickly changed to Richmond Gray after the First Battle of Bull Run. They were retired to be used for special events. 

These coats are available for Special Order only. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

The Civilian trouser is made of wool with cotton facings and pockets. The button fly is lined with cotton to make it more flexible for buttoning. The adjustable "V" back on the waistband has a buckle to allow for waist adjustment.  There is a dart on the back of each side that makes the trousers taper into the waistband. The trousers have a watch pocket and flat front pockets. Fly buttons and suspender buttons are pewter.

These trousers are worn higher than today's jeans. However, we are well fed and many of us have larger stomachs and our jeans are worn below the stomach. Order ONE size larger than your normal jean size. If you want an exceptional loose fit, order TWO sizes larger than your normal jean size.

Inseam measurement is not needed as the trousers are unhemmed and can be either rolled up, cut off, or hemmed by the customer.
