The Indian War "Cavalry" Pistol Holster has a smaller flap than the Civil War model. This economical Pistol Holster is made of quality leather embossed with "US" on the holster body. The holster is sewn with white linen thread. The closed flap is secured with a brass finial. The belt loop is stitched and riveted. The holster has a closed bottom. Available in black leather only.

Designed to fit the single action SA .45 long colt , 7" barrel pistol, this holster will also fit the black powder pistols.

The holster is worn on the right side, with the gun butt forward: RIGHT Side, Butt Forward. Left handed models - LEFT Side, Butt Forward - are also available. Left side holsters were less common as they were not standard issue.  New!!  Right Side, Butt Forward in Russet.
