The Tennessee hat is a wide-brimmed hat. The crown and brim can be shaped to the desire of the soldier. The hat is correct for both Civilian CS enlisted men. You can make your own unique trapper, Tricorn, round hat or slouch hat by cutting or modifying the brim, crown or crease, adding a sweatband and hatband, and further trimming it out to your taste. 

This hat is made of top quality 100% Heavy wool felt with a 4 1/2 inch wide brim and a 4 1/2 high crown. It has no sweatband. The hat is available in gray, or dark brown.
