The M1833 US Infantryman Shell Jacket was worn by US Enlisted Infantry units during the Mexican-American War. This US Infantryman Shell Jacket is made from quality 16 oz. Sky Blue wool and is trimmed in 3/8 inch White wool tape. The jacket has a 9-button front of silver-colored Mexican War "I" buttons. The button holes are HANDSTITCHED. The jacket has single-button functional cuffs, 2-buttons on each side of the standing collar, epaulettes, and 2 front pockets. The body and the sleeves are lined in unbleached muslin. There is one inside pocket. The collar trim has double rows of tape. The collar and epaulettes of the jacket are trimmed in tape. Imported. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
